As the VU7 team, we're super excited to share our detailed plan for the upcoming AU7RS - VU7 Lakshadweep Islands Expedition, happening from 10th January to 22nd January. We're committed to making this happen, but we need your support! 🙏
Here's the thing: despite our best efforts, the support we've received so far is just not enough. We're talking hotel expenses of minimum $$.
But we're not giving up! We've got a solid plan, and we're moving forward. Highlights:
- We've sorted the landing permits - they're on their way.
- We've invested in our own amplifiers (big tick!).
- Our setup: Icom 7300 with amps, 4square antenna (thanks, DX Commander!), 80-10m vertical, 40-10m vertical, tri-bander yagi, hexbeam, 10m and 6m beams.
- QO-100 setup's done, receive loops for low bands are on the way.
- Shipping equipment to Om Subbu (VU2NSL) in Kochi to streamline logistics.
What we need now is YOUR support to cover those crazy logistics and hotel costs. Every $ counts! 💸
